Last weekend little biRd had the privilege to volunteer for a very important cause: we helped pack 102 boxes of clothing to ship to orphans in Malawi (which is in southeastern Africa, see map at left). We were helping Goods For Good, an organization that donates clothing and school supplies to children in need, usually in Malawi. Over a dozen volunteers gathered to sort through hundreds of boxes of new clothing lovingly donated by The Children’s Place, separating the items by size and type. Now the children will have cute and comfy new clothes to wear to school! We could not have been happier to be able to help out the kids.
