I ran into Tim Gunn on 23rd st. a few weeks and finally got to ask him my burning Tim Gunn-related question: why does Tim Gunn HATE leggings? He was so sweet and we really got into the topic. Tim, in all his fashion genius, pointed out that leggings have to hit your leg in exactly the right spot in order for them to look flattering. That being the spot right under the calf muscle where your leg gets thinner. Tim says most women wear their leggings either too short or too long and that is a BIG DON’T! Take note girls, Tim knows his stuff! I’ll be sure to ask him some follow up questions when I hear him speak at the 92nd St. Y in the spring.
